Two More Positions Are Exited; No New Signals

While there has been quite a lot of both up and down activity in the markets we follow, we have no new signals for tomorrow. Two of our active positions were exited today: Long New Zealand Dollar, and Short Gold. Our Short Gold was barely stopped out, and then Gold plummeted. So, though we made money, we missed another downward move in the metal. Our two exited positions racked up profits as follows:

CLOSED OUT SYMBOL ENTRY OUT PROFIT DAYS In Out
Short Gold GCZ10 1370.60 1349.5 $2,110 3 10/19/10 10/21/10
Short Gold DGZ 16.15 16.16 0.1% 3 10/19/10 10/21/10
Long Zealand NE1U10 72.90 74.23 $1,330 37 9/15/10 10/21/10
Long Zealand BNZ 23.36 23.99 2.7% 37 9/15/10 10/21/10

and our current portfolio is down to one future and NO ETFs.

PORTFOLIO SYMBOL ENTRY CLOSE STOP PROFIT DAYS
Long Soy Oil BOZ10 40.86 47.10 43.77 $3,744 45

I am proud to say that our year-to-date ETF return is up to 16.0%. If this keeps up, we will close the year up over 20%; no guarantees. We base this result on a simple mathematical extrapolation.

Best of luck to all!
