BLOG for Tuesday

Good evening. I am getting to the BLOG very, very late for me. It is nearly midnight Pacific Time.

Thanks to all of you for your support. Although I don't know who you are, the BLOG has been read in South America, Europe, and Asia.

There are no new signals for tomorrow.

Today was not good for most of our positions. Our short the S&P; however, was right on the money. Many positions were stopped out today: some for net profits, but some for losses. It is a constant challenge to try and predict the financial markets, and this is the very reason I wrote my programs. Computer programs tend to take the emotions out of "market watching."

Listed below is the Portfolio:

PORTFOLIO #1 Symbol Entry Stop Close Profit Days
Long Platinum PLJ10 1534.90 1653.70 1685.80 $7,545 69

And here are the closed out positions for Portfolio #1

Finally, the only position in Portfolio #2 was stopped out with a loss:

Closed Portfolio 2 Symbol Entry Out Profit Days
Long British BPM10 149.75 151.11 850.00 36
Long British FXB 150.46 150.46 0.0% 36

Since Portfolio 2 was mostly one position, the British Pound, since inception about a month ago, we are abandoning the 2 Portfolio approach. In the future, we will cap the number of active ETF program-generated positions at five (5).
